She is principal horn of the Johnson City Symphony Orchestra and a sought-after clinician and teacher in East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. An award-winning soloist, her previous awards include the Southeast Horn Workshop’s Collegiate Solo Competition, WVU’s College of Creative Arts Young Artists’ Competition, and Midsouth Horn Workshop’s Graduate Solo Competition. This event will be held on the first sunday of every month, with the goal of keeping Rocky Fork's trails and creeks free of litter. Meet Park Ranger Cory Franklin at the Park Ranger Station (280 Jennie Moore Rd.). From there we will go to our cleanup location. Rocky Fork has the cleanest water of any tributary in the Nolichucky River Watershed. With 2,000 acres of park land surrounded by 8,000 acres of National Forest.
