Charlie Maples is a genre-crossing musical ensemble based in East Tennessee that blends elements of jazz, R&B, and pop-soul. Formed in late 2020, the group is led by singer-songwriter and arranger Erin Dalton, who provides lead vocals and plays the trumpet. The band’s name was inspired by a stray cat from the region.
