Fall Hike to the High Point

Rocky Fork State Park 501 Rocky Fork Rd, Flag Pond, TN, United States

Join us on a guided hike up to the park high point on top of Birchfield Camp, 4,310 feet. The high point is the highest point in the state park system. Along our hike we will notice the change from cove mountain forest to northern hardwoods. We will discuss the geography and hydrology of Rocky Fork. This hike is considered strenuous and is suitable for experienced hikers.We are expecting peak fall colors on our hike. $5.00 per person, sign up at the park website to reserve your spot.
