Join Park Ranger Taylor Moorefield for a look at several styles of firearm used in the Revolutionary War era. Learn the advantages and disadvantages of each, and see a firing demonstration of a flintlock weapon system. The Town of Jonesborough will host The Great Jonesborough Pumpkin Party in Downtown Jonesborough on Wednesday, October 29, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Evolving from the traditional Jack-O-Lantern Drive-Thru, The Great Jonesborough Pumpkin Party allows attendees to join the celebration and carve pumpkins alongside their family, friends, and local community members right in Tennessee’s Oldest Town. Pumpkin carving will take place on the West side of Courthouse Square in Downtown Jonesborough. Following the event, the carved pumpkins will be displayed along Main Street, creating a festive jack-o-lantern trail that will remain through Halloween night. Teen Zines: Empowerment and Peace of Mind
