    Children ages 5-12 can register for a 15-minute time slot to read to a trained listening dog. They read aloud in the Library's Storytime Room between 11 a.m.-12 p.m. on the third Saturday of each month or from 4-5 p.m. on the first Monday of each month. In an effort to maximize the number of participants served by this program, time slots are limited to one per child for each event.     On Tuesday, June 30, families are invited to the Library's Jones Meeting Center to learn about reptiles with Johnson City Parks and Recreation naturalist Connie Deegan. An award-winning conservation educator, Deegan is a local celebrity due to her work with snakes and her devotion to our natural environment.     This has been a long time coming, but we are finally able to open our state-of-the-art Esports Lab at the community center for anyone and everyone to come play games, experience new activities, or just do some homework that may require a powerful computer! It's completely free and we have some controllers for people who may want to use them!
