Top youth teams from across the country will hit the field this July as Johnson City hosts a major fast pitch softball championship at Winged Deer Park. With new turf fields and upgraded amenities, the park is ready to welcome players, coaches, and fans for a week of high-energy competition and community spirit.
This special event, kicking off the 2025 Hikers Jamboree, will bring together the people who made the park possible. From the founding advocates and early supporters to the current staff and Friends of Rocky Fork members. Park Manager Tim Pharis and other special guests will share reflections, stories, and updates on the exciting future of Rocky Fork, including the official groundbreaking (TBD) for our new Visitor Center, set to open in Fall 2026.
