Ghost Stories with Megan Wells

Johnson City Public Library 100 W Millard St, Johnson City, TN

Eminent storyteller and actress Megan Wells will perform enthralling ghost stories for ages 18 and older on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the Library's Jones Meeting Center. Her repertoire includes stories by literary greats like Ray Bradbury and Edgar Allan Poe, as well as folktales and original material. Wells is a soulful story weaver who breathes life into her characters and creates an intimate space in which her audience is captivated as the story plays out. Trick-Tour-Treat

Halloween is the perfect day for trick-or-treating in the stacks! All ages are invited to join us in costume on Thursday, October 31 from 3-5 p.m. for our third annual Trick-Tour-Treat event. Take a behind-the-scenes tour of the Library's decorated departments, meet costumed Library staff, and get treats along the way. At the end, you can vote for your favorite department’s decorations!

Families are invited to drop by the Library's Jones Meeting Center the second Saturday of every month between 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. for Building with the Lions. You can build creations using LEGO blocks and other construction materials. Your creations will be displayed in the Children's Library. This program is facilitated by the Johnson City Lions Club.
