  • The Baby Sitters Club Party

    Ages 6-12 are invited to step into the world of "The Baby-Sitters Club" to celebrate the new graphic novel release! On Tuesday, April 7 from 5:30-7 p.m., participants can drop by the Library's Jones Meeting Center to rotate through activity stations inspired by favorite Stoneybrook sitters. Kids can create healthy snacks, practice real babysitting skills like diapering and basic first aid, and enjoy crafts and challenges that reflect what it takes to be a great sitter. This interactive workshop invites young fans of the series to connect with the stories while building confidence, empathy, and real-world skills.

They read aloud in the Library's Storytime Room between 11 a.m.-12 p.m. on the third Saturday of each month or from 4-5 p.m. on the first Monday of each month. In an effort to maximize the number of participants served by this program, time slots are limited to one per child for each event.     Families are invited to the Children's Library one night per month for game night fun. The Library will provide board and video games to learn, play, and enjoy together. You can also try out the Library's new Infinity Game Table, a giant touch-screen packed with classics like Clue, Operation, and Candy Land. Family Game Night will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. on the following Mondays this fall: September 8, October 27, and November 10 and on the following Mondays this winter: December 22 and February 23. No registration is required for this drop-in event.
