Johnson City, TN 37604

King Commons, completed in 2018 as part of a stormwater retention project to mitigate flooding, is a 3-acre recreational and event space located in downtown Johnson City. In addition to walking paths, this space includes an amphitheater, the Wildabout mural that showcases animals indigenous to our area, a playground featuring natural elements, and a history circle highlighting significant dates from Johnson City’s first 150 years.
