This year, we’re proud to host the 2nd Annual Trout Madness Youth Fishing Tournament at Rocky Fork State Park, relocated from David Crockett Birthplace due to flood recovery efforts following Hurricane Helene.

This free event is open to anglers ages 6–16 (16-year-olds must bring a valid TN fishing license and trout stamp). Whether you’re a first-time fisher or already hooked on the sport, come enjoy a morning of trout fishing, prizes, and hands-on learning from partners like TWRA, Trout Unlimited, and U.S. Fish & Wildlife.

Details:

• Harvest up to 5 trout per angler.

• Bring your own rod, stringer, and cooler (limited loaner gear available).

• Raffle prizes at 1:00 PM — 1 free ticket per participant.

• Artificial lures encouraged; worms permitted.

• Food available from the Friends of David Crockett to support flood recovery efforts.

In case of inclement weather, the event will be canceled and registrants will be notified via email.
