Join park interpretive staff for a festive themed tour of Tennessee’s oldest frame house. Completed around 1780, this home played an integral role in the earliest community of frontier settlers here. As you learn about the significance of the mansion and the Carter family who built and lived there you will also hear how Christmas was celebrated in colonial America while enjoying the beautifully decorated rooms of this historic house. Accessibility to the home includes steps and an interior staircase. (Maximum of 12 participants per tour)
