Myth, Oral Storytelling, Music, Poetry
Imagine an entire planet being birthed into existence. New land materializes. Whole oceans manifest. See the sun, moon and stars shine for the first time. Witness the incarnation of animals and mythical creatures.
The BecoMyth story travel project takes you on an adventure across the galaxy where worlds awaken, stories come alive, and you too can become myth. Through his poetic oral storytelling, Adam J. N. Keene, alongside the lyre infused musing of Langston Kelly, rediscovers myths of old, brewing them forth for the modern age.
The second time oral storytelling showcase titled “BecoMyth:We Begin In Chaos”, weaves togethers two ancient Chinese origin stories through the out of body experience of a 5 year old child. Through this journey BecoMyth explores what it is about beginnings that makes them both challenging and essential. To that end, BecoMyth turns to some of the oldest stories of beginnings known to humanity, creation myths.
