This year marks the 40th anniversary of National Recreation and Park Association’s (NRPA) Park and Recreation Month, and we’re celebrating with the theme “Build Together, Play Together.” In keeping with the theme, Johnson City Parks and Recreation will host weekly Party in the Park events all month long. These free, all-ages events are a great way to explore the resources our parks offer across the city.

During the weekly Party in the Park events, Parks and Recreation staff will be chatting with attendees to find out what they love most about each park. The community is also invited to get involved on social media.
