DR ENUF presents a wonderful way to spend VALENTINE’S EVENING…with an Opry favorite, STEMWINDER! Stemwinder was the nickname of the Tweetsie Railroad. In 1866 she began her run from Johnson City to Cranberry, North Carolina until 1950. She enjoyed a loyal following of visitors to the mountains and was known for punctuality and fine-tuned operation. We think you find the culture and heritage of the Appalachian mountains in Stemwinder’s songs. You will hear sounds of roots music, folk, bluegrass, 60s and 70s soft rock, spiritual, and original tunes…expertly performed by: Bob – banjo, Dennis – mandolin, Shannon – guitar, Pam – bass.
