Guitarist and composer Ben Garnett brings his trio to the Down Home for a night of adventurous acoustic music, joined by Ben Plotnick on fiddle and Daniel Kimbro on bass. Garnett writes tunes that feel like short films, drifting between string band, jazz, and classical chamber music. His acclaimed sophomore album, Kite’s Keep, features luminaries such as Darol Anger, Brittany Haas, Paul Kowert, Ethan Jodziewicz, and Chris Eldridge. Garnett has performed with Missy Raines & Allegheny and Circus No. 9 on stages from the Ryman Auditorium (Nashville) to the Big Ears Festival (Knoxville).
