An Evening with Abraham Lincoln
Saturday, July 11 at 7:00 PM
A powerful blend of history, theatre, and storytelling comes to the stage with An Evening with Abraham Lincoln, a seventy-five-minute solo performance that illuminates one of America’s most iconic leaders through humor, humanity, and unforgettable oratory.
With anecdotes both heart-warming and heart-rending, Abraham Lincoln recounts the extraordinary arc of his life — from his difficult frontier childhood to the marriage, family, and legal and legislative successes that eventually elevated him to the presidency. Woven throughout are some of Lincoln’s most enduring speeches, including Lincoln’s Lecture on Law, the House Divided speech, the Second Inaugural Address, and the show’s powerful finale, The Gettysburg Address.
Guests attending the evening performance will also be able to purchase themed cocktails inspired by the era.
Both performances are entertaining, educational, humorous, and poignant, leaving audiences with a deeper appreciation for the wit, compassion, and statesmanship of one of America’s most influential leaders.
