Join us for the Upper East Tennessee Fiddler’s Convention, a celebration of our rich musical heritage that has thrived in this region for generations. Come out to compete, cheer on competitors, or attend a folk school workshop.

7:00pm: Square dance with a special performance by the Green Grass Cloggers and ETSU old-time band Twin Taters
Saturday, April 25, 2026
There is no advance registration, registration opens on-site at 8am. Each event will begin immediately after the preceding event ends. Be sure to keep tabs on how things are progressing. Events will proceed in the following order:
10:00am: Youth Competition (under 18)
• Old-Time Banjo
• Old-Time Fiddle
12:00pm: Main Competition
• Traditional Song
• Old-Time Banjo
• Old-Time Fiddle
• Dance
• Stringband
6:00pm – 7:30pm: Supper
7:30pm: Contest finals
***Please note that times for finals are subject to change depending on the number of contestants. Events will start promptly at the end of the previous event. In other words, there are no breaks. You are responsible for keeping track of what is happening on stage. If your number is called and you are not present, you will lose your chance to compete.
