    Join the White Lotus crew on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays each month for the best Tea in Johnson City, some heartfelt community, and some relaxing yet invigorating movement arts to top it all off. We will meet at the Philosopher's House for a tea of your choice, then head out to the park (weather permitting) for Yang 24 (Beijing Style) Tai Chi. Our warmup will include some Qigong and exercises influenced by martial arts style like Bajiquan and Baguazhang. How to register: Drop-in, no registration needed. Location: Meet at the teahouse at 10:30am, then walk with us down to King Commons for Tai Chi time Cost: Beverage or food purchase encouraged to support teahouse nonprofit.

    Want to learn how to use the longsword? Here's your chance! We teach intro to longsword on the first Monday of every month. We meet upstairs at Mulligan's Irish Pub. Class starts at 6:30 pm. All you need to bring is a pair of close toed shoes and some clothing you don't mind sweating in, and we'll provide the rest! Recommended minimum age is 14 years old.

    Taco Trek is going tropical! Wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt, sunscreen, shorts, and leis! Come ride with us in your best Hawaiian gear! The weather is warm, the sun is out, and we're ready to soak it all in on our favorite route around JC. All ages and skill levels welcome. Free beer (or treat for the kids) after the ride at Holy Taco! One lucky rider will win a $25 in-store gift card! You'll be automatically entered when you check in!
