Candy Land Christmas
Johnson City’s Candy Land Christmas is a magical holiday event that transforms the downtown area into a winter wonderland! Named a “Top Christmas Tree Display in America” by Fox News, this year’s display returns November 25- January 7 with over 150 vibrantly decorated christmas trees. Take a walk through Downtown Johnson City, accessible to six local craft breweries, tons of local restaurants, and shopping galore.
Johnson City’s Grand Christmas Tree Lighting takes place in Downtown Johnson City at King Commons Park on Saturday, November 25 at 6:30 p.m., with music for the whole family and more. Experience evening shopping and a variety of eats around town, with 360’ mountain views this holiday season.
While you’re in town, make sure to visit other events happening around the region in Tennessee’s Oldest town and the light display at The Last Great Colosseum.
Speedway In Lights, Bristol
Johnson City is a short drive from Bristol Motor Speedway, making it a great basecamp to visit the Pinnacle Speedway in Lights this season! This brilliant holiday light show features millions of Christmas lights and a chance to drive around “The World’s Fastest Half-Mile.” Make sure to check out the Christmas Village inside of the speedway.

Minutes away from Johnson City is Tennessee’s Oldest Town! Historic Jonesborough is filled with an abundance of cheer and holiday spirit this season.
