Coming up this Friday, from right here in Johnson City: Mahto and The Loose Balloons

Johnson City band Mahto & The Loose Balloons are made up of Mahto Addison-Browder, Will Diebold, Niko Graham, Abraham Vidrio, and Travis F. Welch.
They play music somewhere between folk, rock, and Americana, and strive for honest lyrics and easy listening grooves. They’ve been playing since 2017 with a couple lineup changes along the way.
Adventure is a must and it has brought them to a variety of venue spaces from rooftops to the post office to parades to festivals like Rhythm & Roots.
Signed to local label Downspout Record, they’ve put out 6 EPs and 2 full length albums with one on the way as well as a short film. The most recent EP titled “On Air” is a collection of radio appearances from the past couple years.
