World-famous bassist and composer Edgar Meyer joins Symphony of the Mountains for a night of exquisite music, including his own Concerto No. 1 in D and Bottesini’s Concerto for Double Bass No. 2. Other highlights include Overture and Il Maestro di Cappella from Cimarose and Arvo Pärts Fratres, plus we are thrilled to be joined by Academy of Strings and ETSU’s String Orchestra to present Vaughan Williams’s Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis.
