Everyone loves a good story, and here in the Appalachians, we’re full of them!  Epic stories of The Overmountain Men, to the community once called Johnson’s Depot filled with railroad stories from across the south.  Not to mention the tall tales of ghosts at Montrose Court and historic Jonesborough.  We’re hoping you’ll create your own story while you’re here!
