The Trojan Timing Classic—previously known as the Six Rivers and Times News Relays—has long been recognized as one of the premier meets in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.
Beginning in 2024 and continuing in future years, the meet will feature two sections for each individual track event (16 total competitors), a single section of nine (9) teams for relay events, and one section of 16 participants in all field events.

Since its inception, the meet has been widely regarded as a de facto “area championship” for high school athletes.
