Spoof traces folk acts as they reunite to play a live TV concert at New York’s Town Hall. Among them are Mitch & Mickey, once a duo in both music and life who sang love songs until the collapse of their relationship. The Folksmen, an earnest trio, also get back together after decades apart, but need time to rehearse the old favorites before playing the big reunion show.
