Joe started Railroad Thunder as a progressive duo in the Chicago suburbs and kept the name for his backing band\, now centered in East Tennessee. With influences from Country and Bluegrass artists such as The Steeldrivers\, Tyler Childers\, Lonesome River Band\, and Billy Strings. Along with Rock influences ranging from the Grateful Dead to the Allman Brothers\, Joe Cangelosi and Railroad Thunder will surely get your night rockin’!\nThis event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket to ensure seating. Food & Brews will start begin served at 4 p.m. There will be rotating food trucks and brews on tap each week.\nYoga in the Park takes place during Brews & Tunes at 4 p.m. in Jimmy Neil Smith Park behind the International Storytelling Center. The session emphasizes 18th-century techniques with modern and colonial methods and guides participants through creating modern metalwork in the same vein as they did 250 years ago.\nWhat to expect:\nWorking with a fully functional forge lead by Rocky Mount’s established Blacksmith.\nLearn how to craft unique creations in a similar vein to those from the 1700s.\nGates will open 30 minutes prior to class start\nPlease allot enough time in order to get checked in and meet your instructor.\nWhat to know before registration:\nParticipants must be age 9+ for safety purposes\nClosed-toed shoes required.\nWe recommend clothing that is easy to move in.\nIf the weather does not co-operate and the workshop must be rescheduled; you will be refunded in full.\nPre-registration is required due to limited workspace and small class size. Becoming interested in roots music at a young age\, Bailey began collecting\, performing\, and chronicling the history of American vernacular music\, as well as hosting various radio programs across the southeast.\nThis event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket to ensure seating. Food & Brews will start begin served at 4 p.m. There will be rotating food trucks and brews on tap each week.\nYoga in the Park takes place during Brews & Tunes at 4 p.m. in Jimmy Neil Smith Park behind the International Storytelling Center. Each class lasts an hour. There is no cost to participate\, but donations are accepted. All levels are welcome from beginners to advance\, and this series will be taught by certified area instructors. Participants can bring a yoga mat\, towel or blanket.
