The hike is a 1 mile long\, moderately steep trail that travels below the 200-foot quartzite Whitehouse Cliffs\, then continues upward to a beautiful view of the park atop Whitehouse Knob. Although short\, this trail is rated as moderate to difficult due to the steepness of the trail so a good level of fitness is required. Bring good hiking shoes\, drinking water (1-2 liters suggested)\, proper clothing including rain jacket if chance of rain (synthetic\, non-cotton layers recommended) and day pack (optional).\nSpace is limited to 15 participants and registration is required. Minimum age is 8. This classic Brothers Grimm Fairy Tale is about four animals (a donkey\, dog\, cat\, and rooster) who escape their owners to become musicians. This adaptation will include two new characters (a raccoon and bear) who recover broken instruments and promote environmentalism. ETSU Theatre students will be creating the play\, props\, costumes\, and music for this special performance. No registration is required to attend.
