National Storytelling Festival

Large, circus-type tents are erected in downtown Jonesborough, with general admission seating in each tent. Attendees simply choose which performances they want to attend. The tents are all located within easy walking distance of each other. When you pick up your ticket at registration, you will be given a Festival program, which will include the daily schedule and a map of the Festival grounds.

The Pinnacle Speedway in Lights Powered by TVA

The largest holiday light show in the South.  Speedway in Lights produces one of the larges holiday light shows in the country.  A route of approximately four miles and two million lights provides entertainment for thousands and raises money for children’s charities in and around the region.

Visions of Christmas: 1863

Come and enjoy an 1863 rendition of the Haynes family as the Union Army fights for control of East Tennessee. You will tour the house and watch as the Haynes family prepare for Christmas and their father, Senator Landon Carter Haynes’s birthday. Treats will be cooked on the open hearth of our cabin. Reservations for tours is appreciated. Admission is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children twelve and under. Children three and under free. Members of Tipton-Haynes are also FREE!
